About Shazia Kamran

Bio

Shazia Kamran, MD knew she wanted to become a doctor since middle school. While in medical school, she continued to naturally migrate to caring for neurology patients. To Dr. Kamran, the human brain is the greatest creation, and she is fascinated to study and treat its diseases. Several members of her family have also suffered from stroke and dementia, prompting her even more to become a neurologist.

Dr. Kamran received her medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College at the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan. She later completed her residency at University of Mexico Methodist Hospital, as well as at Texas Medical Center and the Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Dr. Kamran enjoys spending time with her patients and taking time to talk to them and listen to their problems.
